Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be key in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security threats to ensure organizational resilience. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Threat Monitoring & Incident Response

🔹 Continuously monitor security alerts and assess network activity for potential threats. 🔹 Analyze and investigate security breaches, taking swift action to mitigate risks. 🔹 Develop and execute incident response strategies to enhance cybersecurity readiness. 🔹 Conduct forensic investigations to determine the root causes of security incidents.

Security Policy Implementation & Compliance

🔹 Develop, refine, and implement cybersecurity policies and best practices. 🔹 Conduct risk assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR. 🔹 Prepare security documentation and reports for internal and external audits. 🔹 Train employees on cybersecurity awareness and risk mitigation.

Collaboration & Security Optimization

🔹 Work with IT, engineering, and DevOps teams to strengthen security infrastructure. 🔹 Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend proactive security solutions. 🔹 Participate in penetration testing and security simulation exercises. 🔹 Research cybersecurity trends and recommend new strategies to fortify defenses.

Education & Experience

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. ✔ 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, threat intelligence, or security operations. ✔ Hands-on experience in identifying and mitigating security risks.

Technical Skills & Expertise

✔ Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm), IDS/IPS, and endpoint security platforms. ✔ Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and network security principles. ✔ Expertise in penetration testing, malware analysis, and threat intelligence methodologies. ✔ Understanding of encryption, cryptography, and authentication techniques.

Certifications & Key Skills

✔ Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, CISM, or equivalent. ✔ Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to respond quickly under pressure. ✔ Strong analytical mindset to identify and resolve cybersecurity issues. ✔ Effective communication skills to explain security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
