Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for both personal and official purposes. The driver must possess a valid driving license and be well-versed with the routes and traffic regulations in Mumbai. Attention to detail, punctuality, and excellent customer service skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Driving and Vehicle Management
   • Safely transport passengers or goods as required, adhering to the traffic rules and road safety standards.
   • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.
   • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure it is roadworthy, including checking tire pressure, oil levels, fuel levels, lights, brakes, and other necessary aspects.
   • Report any vehicle issues to the concerned authorities promptly and ensure that they are addressed.
   • Plan routes effectively to avoid delays due to traffic, construction, or other obstacles.
2. Punctuality and Time Management
   • Be responsible for maintaining a timely schedule for all assigned trips.
   • Plan pickup and drop-off schedules in advance and ensure that passengers or goods reach their destinations on time.
   • Adapt to last-minute changes in schedules or destinations as required by the employer.
3. Professionalism and Customer Service
   • Exhibit a professional attitude at all times.
   • Greet passengers courteously and assist them with their belongings if needed.
   • Communicate clearly and politely with the passengers or clients.
   • Address passengers’ inquiries or concerns during the trip.
   • Maintain confidentiality regarding the employer's activities and personal information.
4. Knowledge of Local Routes
   • Be familiar with Mumbai’s streets, highways, and landmarks.
   • Use GPS devices or maps to navigate efficiently, especially in unfamiliar areas.
   • Stay updated on road closures, traffic conditions, and new routes to ensure the fastest and safest travel.
5. Safety and Security
   • Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe journey for passengers.
   • Ensure the security of the vehicle and any belongings in it.
   • Act promptly in case of emergencies, such as accidents or vehicle breakdowns, and follow the proper protocol.
   • Keep emergency contact numbers and first-aid kits readily available.

Requirements:

• A valid Indian driving license with a clean record.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a driver in Mumbai.
• Strong knowledge of Mumbai’s roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills in Hindi, Marathi, and basic English.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Physical stamina and fitness to handle long hours of driving.
• Polite and professional demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:
