Job Summary

As a driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers to their destinations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all traffic regulations. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the company’s reputation for punctuality and safety. We are looking for someone who is punctual, responsible and possesses a thorough understanding of Mumbai's roads and traffic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Safe Driving:
   • Operate vehicles safely and courteously.
   • Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
   • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
2. Transportation Duties:
   • Transport goods, passengers, or materials as required.
   • Ensure timely delivery to designated locations.
   • Load and unload items as necessary, ensuring that cargo is secure.
3. Vehicle Maintenance:
   • Regularly check vehicles for mechanical issues.
   • Report any maintenance needs or concerns to the fleet manager.
   • Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, both inside and outside.
4. Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel usage.
   • Complete any required paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs.
   • Adhere to company policies regarding documentation and reporting.
5. Customer Service:
   • Provide excellent service to clients and passengers.
   • Address any questions or concerns during transportation.
   • Professionally represent the company at all times.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably in a similar role.
• License: A valid Indian driver’s license (LMV/HMV) is mandatory.
• Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of Mumbai's road network and traffic conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
  • Good physical fitness and stamina to manage the loading and unloading of goods.
