Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and experienced E-Learning Designer to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the opportunity to create engaging and effective e-learning solutions that enhance the learning experience for our diverse audience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in instructional design, and multimedia development, and a passion for utilizing technology to improve educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Instructional Design:
    • Analyze learning needs and objectives to design effective e-learning courses and modules.
    • Develop detailed course outlines and storyboards that clearly define the content structure, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies.
    • Implement adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to ensure content is engaging, relevant, and accessible.
  2. Content Development:
    • Create high-quality, interactive e-learning content using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
    • Incorporate multimedia elements (videos, animations, graphics) to enhance learner engagement and understanding.
    • Ensure all content is aligned with the latest educational standards and best practices.
  3. Project Management:
    • Manage multiple e-learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and team members to gather content and feedback throughout the design and development process.
    • Utilize project management tools to track progress and communicate updates to relevant parties.
  4. Assessment and Evaluation:
    • Develop formative and summative assessments to measure learner progress and knowledge retention.
    • Analyze learner feedback and performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of e-learning solutions and identify areas for improvement.
    • Revise and update courses based on evaluation results and industry trends.
  5. Technology Integration:
    • Stay current with emerging e-learning technologies, trends, and best practices to continually enhance the design and delivery of e-learning experiences.
    • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can improve the e-learning development process and learner engagement.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues related to e-learning platforms and assist learners with any challenges they may face.
  6. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive learning experience that aligns with organizational goals.
    • Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to the overall improvement of e-learning initiatives.
    • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation among team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field; Masterโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in instructional design and e-learning development, preferably in a corporate or higher education setting.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and multimedia production techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or other web development languages.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
  • Previous experience in project management or a related role.
