FedEx Remote Social Media Coordinator

Description

Remote Social Media Coordinator

Be a Voice That Connects a Global Community

Imagine yourself shaping the voice of a globally recognized brand, crafting stories that resonate with millions. As a Remote Social Media Coordinator, you will do more than schedule posts—you’ll drive authentic communication that forges connections across cultures, supports diverse communities, and elevates the company’s digital presence with empathy and creativity. In this fully remote role, you’ll lead the storytelling charge on platforms that matter, ensuring that every message promotes inclusion, awareness, and emotional resonance.

Key Responsibilities of a Social Media Coordinator

Content Strategy and Creative Campaigns

You'll be responsible for shaping and executing social content strategies that are innovative, on-brand, and inclusive. You’ll develop campaign ideas that highlight key company milestones, showcase employee stories, celebrate global observances, and amplify voices within our customer and employee community. From designing engaging social carousels to scripting relatable reels, you'll transform ideas into shareable digital narratives that reflect the organization’s commitment to belonging and excellence.

Your storytelling skills will be vital in maintaining a consistent tone across various channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter). You’ll curate content that resonates with varied demographics, paying close attention to the tone, cultural relevance, and accessibility of each post.

Community Management with Compassion

You will monitor all social media inboxes and public mentions, making sure each comment, message, or mention receives a timely and thoughtful response. Whether it’s a customer inquiry or a follower expressing appreciation, your replies will reflect respect and clarity. You’ll be the frontline voice of the brand—one that listens attentively and responds meaningfully.

In collaboration with the broader brand and care teams, you'll also help manage community safety and sentiment. You'll flag inappropriate content, escalate concerns as needed, and contribute to making each platform a safe, inclusive space.

Insight-Driven Optimization

To refine our strategy, you will collect and analyze performance data using tools such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and third-party dashboards. Your ability to interpret these findings will enable you to make informed content and timing adjustments that align with both audience preferences and broader organizational goals.

You will also produce monthly analytics reports that summarize key metrics, including reach, engagement, click-through rate, and follower growth. These insights will inform future campaign planning and help establish best practices for content creation.

Team Collaboration Across Time Zones

In this cross-functional position, you’ll work alongside designers, content writers, customer experience professionals, and HR leads. Through regular check-ins and digital collaboration tools, you’ll align content across departments and contribute your ideas in team-wide creative brainstorming sessions.

Whether co-creating graphics with the visual design team or helping HR showcase internal events, your voice will be central in shaping consistent messaging that champions company values.
