Position Summary:
As a Full-Time Maid, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and order of our home. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to cleaning, laundry, cooking, and general household upkeep. Your work will have a significant impact on the well-being and comfort of our household.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning: You will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the house, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. You should be attentive to detail and ensure that all surfaces are spotless.
- Laundry: Taking care of our laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, and organizing our clothes. You should be knowledgeable about the appropriate care for different fabrics.
- Cooking: Preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our family. You should have culinary skills and be able to follow recipes. Experience in preparing Indian dishes is a plus.
- Household Upkeep: Ensuring the overall maintenance of the house. This includes ensuring that all appliances and equipment are in working order and reporting any issues to the homeowner.
- Grocery Shopping: Responsible for purchasing groceries and household supplies. You should be able to maintain an organized inventory of supplies and request replenishments as needed.
- Pet Care: If applicable, you will be responsible for feeding, grooming, and walking our pets.
- Organization: Keeping the house well-organized, ensuring that everything has its designated place, and assisting with decluttering.
- Adherence to House Rules: Following the guidelines and preferences of the homeowner regarding cleaning products, schedules, and any other specific instructions.
- Security: Maintaining the security of the home by ensuring that all doors and windows are locked when necessary.
- Communication: Keeping open and honest communication with the homeowner to address any concerns or special requests promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices.
- Cooking skills and the ability to prepare a variety of dishes.
- Adept at using household cleaning equipment and appliances.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain the utmost confidentiality.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit and able to perform household tasks effectively.
- Compassionate and considerate in your approach to caregiving.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position, and you will be expected to work 12 hours per day. The working hours can be discussed and agreed upon with the homeowner.
