Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Packages Safely and Timely: You will be responsible for delivering a variety of packages, including food, groceries, or retail items, to different locations across Mumbai. Your top priority is to ensure that each delivery is completed safely, on time, and with a smile.
• Maintain Communication: You will stay in constant communication with the dispatch team to receive delivery instructions, report issues, and keep them updated about your location and delivery status.
• Inspect and Maintain Vehicle: Daily inspections of the delivery vehicle are essential to ensure its smooth operation. You'll need to check for any mechanical or operational issues and ensure that the vehicle is clean and ready for use.
• Verify Orders: Double-check all packages and goods before leaving the hub or distribution center. Ensure all items are accurate and complete based on the delivery list.
• Handle Customer Interactions: Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers professionally and courteously. You may be required to collect payments, offer updates on their deliveries, or manage any questions they may have.
• Follow Traffic Laws and Safety Standards: Adherence to all local traffic regulations and safety standards is crucial to ensuring the safety of both yourself and others on the road.
• Update Delivery Records: You will be expected to keep detailed records of your deliveries, including times, locations, and any customer feedback. In some cases, you may also need to collect signatures or other proof of delivery.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License: You must possess a valid driver’s license for driving in Mumbai. If you have experience with different types of vehicles (bikes, cars, or vans), it's a plus.
• Clean Driving Record: A history of safe and responsible driving is required. You should not have any major violations or traffic offenses.
• Knowledge of Local Routes: Familiarity with Mumbai’s neighborhoods, shortcuts, and alternative routes is highly beneficial. You will need to navigate efficiently in both peak and non-peak hours.
• Physical Fitness: This role involves lifting, carrying, and loading packages of various sizes. You should be physically capable of handling these tasks regularly.
