Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated HR Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This remote role is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR who is passionate about cultivating a positive and productive workplace culture. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our HR initiatives are aligned with our organizational goals while fostering a supportive, engaging, and inclusive work environment.

This position requires a strategic thinker who can handle various responsibilities, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance with labor regulations. You will serve as the main point of contact for all HR-related matters, and you will work closely with department leaders to help them meet their people management needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to sourcing and onboarding candidates.
  • Develop job descriptions, post job openings on various platforms, and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies and other talent sources to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring that new hires are integrated smoothly into the company culture.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters, including employee relations, benefits, compensation, and professional development.
  • Foster an inclusive work environment by promoting employee engagement, feedback, and communication.
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and departments as necessary, ensuring that issues are addressed quickly and fairly.
  • Conduct regular employee surveys and feedback sessions to assess job satisfaction and areas for improvement.

3. Performance Management & Professional Development

  • Develop and manage performance management programs to ensure that employees and managers are meeting their objectives and contributing to company goals.
  • Oversee the annual performance appraisal process, guiding managers on how to effectively evaluate and develop their team members.
  • Create and implement training and development programs to support employee growth, skill enhancement, and career progression.
  • Identify high-potential employees and create succession planning strategies to ensure organizational continuity.

4. Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring that they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with industry standards.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and analysis to keep compensation policies up-to-date and attractive for current and prospective employees.
  • Advise leadership on compensation-related matters, including salary adjustments, bonuses, and promotions.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored perks.

5. Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure that the company is compliant with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed of the latest HR and employment law changes and provide updates and training to management on relevant legal matters.
  • Manage the company's compliance with workplace safety regulations and policies, especially in a remote environment.
  • Handle sensitive employee relations issues, including investigations and disciplinary actions, with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

6. HR Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including performance evaluations, compensation data, and attendance.
  • Prepare and present HR reports and analytics to senior leadership, offering insights on employee performance, retention rates, and other key HR metrics.
  • Leverage data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in HR practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of HR management experience, with a strong background in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in remote work environments is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining a high level of accountability and productivity.
  • Proficiency with HR software and tools, such as HRIS, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and performance management platforms.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is preferred.
