Qualified Tutor for School Subjects (All Grades)

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

We are urgently seeking a qualified and dedicated tutor to join our team at Naukri Mitra. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing one-on-one and group tutoring sessions for students of varying academic levels, from elementary to high school. Our goal is to help students improve their academic performance, boost confidence, and develop study skills that foster long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs in subjects including, but not limited to, Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Studies.
• Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the school curriculum, identifying students' strengths and areas for improvement.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents, suggesting additional exercises or study habits if necessary.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that motivates students to engage fully in their studies.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in curriculum standards and exam requirements to ensure students are well-prepared for tests and assignments.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students achieve their academic potential.
• Assist with homework and project guidance while encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a tutor, teacher, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of school-level subjects and the ability to teach multiple subjects across different grades.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient, supportive approach.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work with students of different age groups and learning paces.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in exam preparation, particularly for board exams (State, CBSE, ICSE).
• Knowledge of educational technology and digital tools that enhance the learning experience.
• Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage.

Work Hours: Flexible, including weekends, with an option for online or in-person sessions.
