Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Online Assessment Coordinator to oversee and manage the delivery of online assessments across various programs and departments. The ideal candidate will ensure that all online examinations, quizzes, and assessments are executed smoothly and effectively. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote working environment.
The Online Assessment Coordinator will act as a key liaison between educators, test developers, IT teams, and participants to facilitate seamless assessment operations. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing assessment policies, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage Online Assessments:
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and delivery of online assessments, ensuring that all assessments are administered on time and without technical difficulties.
- Coordinate with educators and test developers to set up assessments and ensure they align with the curriculum and intended learning outcomes.
- Monitor the performance of assessment platforms and resolve any issues that may arise during test delivery.
- Manage the creation and distribution of exam materials such as test instructions, login details, and access codes to ensure that participants can easily access assessments.
2. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure that all assessments adhere to the required academic, legal, and ethical standards.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of assessment content, participant data, and results.
- Ensure that online assessments comply with accessibility standards, including providing accommodations for participants with disabilities.
- Conduct regular audits of the assessment processes to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions where necessary.
3. Participant Support and Troubleshooting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for participants during assessments, assisting with technical issues or general inquiries.
- Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Provide guidance and training to participants on how to use the online assessment platforms.
- Address participant concerns regarding test conditions, content, or scoring in a timely and professional manner.
4. Data Management and Reporting:
- Manage and maintain detailed records of participant data, including registration, attendance, and assessment results.
- Use data analytics tools to generate reports on assessment performance, highlighting trends, insights, and potential areas of improvement.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders regarding the status of assessments, issues encountered, and solutions implemented.
- Work with test developers and educators to analyze assessment data and provide feedback to improve the quality of future assessments.
5. System and Platform Administration:
- Oversee the maintenance and administration of online assessment platforms, ensuring that they are up-to-date and fully functional.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system updates, enhancements, and new features that improve the assessment experience.
- Evaluate and recommend assessment platforms and tools that align with organizational needs and goals.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in online assessments and incorporate best practices into operations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in educational design, IT, and administration to improve assessment methods and delivery systems.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to online assessments.
Qualifications:
Education:
- A Bachelorโs degree in Education, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A Masterโs degree or professional certifications in educational technology or assessment management is a plus.
Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in assessment coordination, online testing, or a related field.
- Experience working in an educational or testing environment, preferably in an online or remote capacity.
- Experience using online assessment platforms and learning management systems (LMS) is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assessments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in using online assessment platforms, learning management systems, and other relevant software tools.

Technical Requirements:
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace for remote work.
- Familiarity with assessment software, LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard), and general office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Basic knowledge of data security and privacy protocols, especially about student information and test results.
Working Conditions:

- Occasional availability outside of standard working hours may be required, especially during high-demand assessment periods.
