Job Summary

As a driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient transportation for our clients. You will be responsible for operating various vehicles, adhering to traffic regulations, and providing exceptional service to our passengers. We are looking for individuals who are punctual, reliable and have a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Vehicle Operation: Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
• Route Planning: Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely arrivals at destinations, considering traffic and weather conditions.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, report any maintenance issues to management, and keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts. Submit reports as required.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with dispatch and management regarding any issues or delays during trips.
• Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, including vehicle breakdowns and medical situations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience as a driver is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Licensing: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to navigate using GPS and maps, excellent time management skills, and knowledge of vehicle safety protocols.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods and assist passengers as needed.
