Job Description:

Role Overview: As a physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or illnesses. Your primary objective will be to restore movement and function, alleviate pain, and promote overall wellness through a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical condition, medical history, and functional abilities.
2. Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and other modalities as appropriate.
3. Therapeutic Interventions: Administer therapeutic interventions such as joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, ultrasound therapy, and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion.
4. Pain Management: Employ various pain management techniques, including hot/cold therapy, TENS, and acupuncture, to alleviate pain and discomfort effectively.
5. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and preventive measures to promote self-management and optimize long-term outcomes.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, surgeons, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
8. Continuing Education: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physiotherapy research, techniques, and technology through ongoing professional development activities and training programs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid state licensure or registration to practice as a physiotherapist in Maharashtra.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
