What You'll Be Doing

Designing Future-Ready Products

• Create conceptual designs and physical prototypes for a range of digital and mechanical products.
• Apply 3D modeling skills using software such as Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Alias.
• Collaborate on ergonomic assessments and surface refinement to ensure both user comfort and visual precision.

Collaborating with Global Teams

• Interface with product managers, mechanical engineers, and UX/UI teams to align design output with technical constraints and market needs.
• Translate complex user needs and technical limitations into seamless industrial design solutions.
• Lead remote design reviews and brainstorming sessions using collaborative platforms like Miro and Figma.

Innovating with Data and Research

• Conduct trend analysis and incorporate data-backed consumer insights into design rationale.
• Utilize heatmaps, usability studies, and customer behavior metrics to refine product aesthetics and functionality.
• Present compelling visual narratives and technical rationale to stakeholders across departments.

Supporting the Entire Product Lifecycle

• Participate in materials selection, color/finish specifications, and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) stages.
• Work closely with manufacturers and sourcing teams to ensure design integrity throughout the entire product lifecycle, from CAD to production.
• Deliver 2D tech packs, exploded views, and renders suitable for both engineering and marketing purposes.

Qualifications and Experience

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a closely related field.
• 4+ years of experience in industrial design with a strong remote or distributed team history.
• A polished portfolio showcasing digital renderings, sketch ideation, and physical prototypes.
• Proficiency in human factors, CMF (Color, Material, Finish) theory, and user-centric methodologies.
• Familiarity with agile design workflows, user feedback loops, and milestone-driven development.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to pitch ideas to cross-functional stakeholders.

Bonus Experience

• Experience with sustainable design initiatives and eco-friendly manufacturing.
• Exposure to IoT devices, wearable tech, or medical-grade product design.
• Working knowledge of AR/VR environments for spatial design previews.
