Key Responsibilities
- Design and update multilayer printed circuit boards using industry-leading EDA tools.
- Translate circuit schematics into precise, optimized PCB layouts that meet mechanical and electrical specifications.
- Implement best practices for trace routing, power distribution, signal integrity, and thermal design.
- Coordinate with specialists in electrical, mechanical, and production engineering to align on design rules, DFM (design for manufacturability), and DFT (design for testability).
- Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve board functionality and manufacturability.
- Generate fabrication-ready output including Gerber files, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues throughout the prototype and validation stages.
- Work closely with vendors to understand board manufacturing constraints and material selections.

Candidate Profile
Technical Expertise
- Demonstrated proficiency in designing 2–8 layer boards with a mix of analog and digital components
- Knowledge of impedance control, return path strategies, EMI reduction, and controlled impedance routing
- Familiarity with board stack-up design, signal timing, and via selection for high-speed interfaces
- Comfortable working with schematic capture tools and simulation platforms
- Ability to read datasheets and component specifications to ensure layout accuracy
- Experience applying IPC standards and ensuring layouts meet industry-grade manufacturing criteria
