Role Objectives and Impact

As a Remote Pharmacovigilance Pharmacist, you will take the lead in evaluating, identifying, and mitigating adverse effects or any other drug-related problems. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze post-marketing safety data using structured benefit-risk methodologies.
  • Evaluate and document individual case safety reports (ICSRs) for completeness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of strategic safety documentation, including RMPs and PSURs
  • Contribute to signal detection efforts through aggregate data analysis and interpretation.
  • Prepare safety narratives and contribute to submission-ready documentation for health authorities.
  • Utilize pharmacovigilance databases such as Argus and ARISg to manage adverse event reports.
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of updates in safety reporting guidelines and regulatory expectations.
  • Assist in audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and ensure all documentation is audit-ready

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed pharmacist (PharmD or equivalent) with a specialization in drug safety or pharmacovigilance
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a pharmacovigilance role, preferably within a remote or hybrid setup
  • Strong understanding of ICH guidelines, FDA, EMA, and MHRA safety regulations
  • Demonstrated experience with safety databases and reporting tools
  • Analytical skills to interpret complex clinical data and translate it into actionable safety insights
  • Outstanding written and spoken communication skills to effectively present technical information clearly
  • Comfortable navigating collaborative tech environments and digital health ecosystems
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and adapt to fast-evolving workflows

Preferred Experience

  • Previous involvement in AI-enhanced safety surveillance initiatives
  • Background in both clinical and post-marketing drug safety
  • Knowledge of predictive pharmacovigilance models and machine learning algorithms
  • Experience with global regulatory submission processes
  • Exposure to multi-therapeutic drug categories and investigational new drugs (INDs)
