Your Impact: Designing for Real Life

You’ll use your drafting experience to help design safe, efficient plumbing systems for a wide variety of projects. From residential remodels to large commercial spaces, your work ensures comfort and functionality for people who rely on our designs every day. You’ll translate engineers’ visions into detailed technical drawings, create clear layouts, and solve design challenges with creativity and precision.

What You’ll Do

• Develop accurate plumbing drawings and layouts using CAD software and digital drafting tools.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers, engineers, and fellow drafters to ensure project goals and code compliance.
• Review sketches and written specifications to create comprehensive plans
• Address technical questions and adapt designs based on evolving project needs
• Incorporate feedback from diverse team members to create the most effective and inclusive design solutions
• Help troubleshoot issues by proposing smart, practical fixes that benefit end users
• Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation for seamless project handoff and record-keeping

Tools & Technology

You’ll leverage modern drafting software, including AutoCAD and Revit, to prepare plumbing schematics, riser diagrams, and detail sheets. Experience using online communication platforms and digital project management systems is helpful, as we rely on these tools to stay connected and keep projects running smoothly from any location.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing drafting or a related technical field (residential, commercial, or industrial design)
