Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Print Production Designer, you will serve as the crucial bridge between design ideation and final output. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing digital artwork for offset and digital print production, ensuring color accuracy, layout alignment, and proper file setup
- Collaborating with graphic designers, copywriters, and project managers to guarantee that all printed deliverables meet brand standards
- Reviewing and correcting print files to ensure error-free, production-ready output
- Managing pre-press processes, including bleeds, trims, and resolution checks for multiple formats and paper types
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless execution of printing jobs and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Archiving final production files by organizational standards
- Suggesting improvements for streamlining the print production workflow and improving final product quality
Work Environment and Team Interaction

You’ll attend weekly design reviews, engage in collaborative file proofing, and participate in virtual design retreats. Tools and Technology

- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) for layout, vector, and image retouching tasks
- Prepress tools such as Enfocus PitStop or FlightCheck for quality assurance
- File sharing and cloud-based project systems like SharePoint, and internal servers for asset management
- Collaborative platforms like Slack, Asana, and Zoom for daily communication and team alignment
- Standard color calibration tools and ICC profiles to maintain visual fidelity across print vendors
Required Qualifications
We're looking for someone who combines technical finesse with a passion for design execution. Ideal candidates will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a print production or graphic design role
- A deep understanding of print production workflows, from digital proofing to vendor output
- Comfort with different print processes, including offset, digital, large-format, and screen printing
- Meticulous attention to layout consistency, typography, and brand integrity
- Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to support teammates across departments
