Purpose and Scope of the Role

As a Remote Salesforce Administrator, your role centers around optimizing and enhancing the organization's Salesforce infrastructure. You'll be the primary contact for Salesforce operations, guiding cross-functional teams toward practical usage and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities and Functional Areas

Platform Configuration and Customization

  • Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot the Salesforce environment to ensure ongoing efficiency.
  • Apply system updates, manage user profiles, and customize layouts.
  • Introduce and refine automation tools, including flows, rules, and triggers.

Stakeholder Training and Collaboration

  • Assist departments by translating their functional needs into technical solutions.
  • Lead virtual training sessions, write user guides, and support onboarding for new users.
  • Maintain strong communication with team leads to identify areas for improvement.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Monitor data consistency and deduplicate entries as needed.
  • Build insightful dashboards and reports tailored to specific business needs.
  • Promote data literacy across departments.

Systems Integration and Efficiency

  • Oversee Salesforce connections with third-party tools, including Tableau, HubSpot, and Slack.
  • Support integration projects that reduce silos and enhance automation.
  • Evaluate new tools and processes for potential adoption.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

Technical and Administrative Experience

  • 3 or more years managing Salesforce environments professionally.
  • Strong experience with platform customization and reporting.

  • Familiarity with CRM integrations and cloud-based technologies.

Interpersonal and Work Style Strengths

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to support non-technical users.

Preferred but Not Essential

  • Salesforce Admin Certification (or in progress)
