Annual Salary: $151,659 (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end Salesforce release process across multiple development environments.
• Coordinate version control and code repository strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise configuration standards.
• Manage sandbox refresh cycles and integration points between different environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Admins, QA, and Product Managers, to plan and execute release schedules.
• Implement best practices for source control, metadata management, and change tracking.
• Identify risks and mitigate issues throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement in deployment automation and release reliability.
• Document deployment steps, rollback plans, and post-deployment verification processes.

Tools and Technology

The Salesforce Release Manager will work with a suite of cloud-native platforms and DevOps tools to ensure consistent delivery across the Salesforce ecosystem. Key technologies include:

• Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
• GitHub or Bitbucket for version control
• CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins
• VS Code with Salesforce Extensions
• SFDX CLI for command-line operations
• Jira for sprint planning and deployment tracking

Familiarity with change sets, unlocked packages, and metadata API tools will also be highly beneficial.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in Salesforce release management, preferably in a multi-org environment
• Strong knowledge of deployment processes within Salesforce, including change sets, ANT migration tool, and SFDX
• Experience using CI/CD pipelines and source-driven development workflows
• Experience working with Git repositories or other distributed version control tools
• Ability to identify, document, and resolve release-related issues
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate across teams and resolve conflicts efficiently
• Certification such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder is a plus
