What You’ll Do Every Day

Design and Deliver Patient-Focused Education

• Develop and lead virtual sessions that address medication safety, chronic illness management, and preventative care.
• Tailor presentations to meet the needs of diverse communities, including individuals with varying literacy levels or cultural backgrounds
• Utilize multimedia tools to develop engaging and interactive educational content for webinars, live Q&As, and recorded modules.

Support Clinical Initiatives Through Education

• Partner with care teams to align educational content with current clinical practices and treatment guidelines
• Respond to evolving patient needs and questions by updating learning materials and addressing knowledge gaps.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to offer pharmacist perspectives on health education strategies.

Foster Inclusive, Equitable Learning Experiences

• Facilitate an online environment that fosters respectful discussion and supports learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Address health disparities through culturally sensitive communication and personalized guidance.

A Typical Day May Include:

Qualifications That Make You a Great Fit

Required:

• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the U.S.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience, including patient education or counseling
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts in accessible, compassionate language
• Familiarity with virtual health platforms and digital communication tools
• Exceptional communication abilities paired with a deep respect for equity and cultural diversity

Preferred:

• Experience working with underserved communities or non-English-speaking populations
• Background in public health or health communication
• Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or similar credential
