Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent for various roles across the organization. As a remote Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will collaborate with hiring managers and other departments to ensure we hire qualified employees who align with our company's goals and culture.
You will manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to making offers, while ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both the candidates and the internal team. Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, assessing, and hiring candidates for various roles.
- Ensure all job descriptions are clear, accurate, and appealing to potential candidates.
- Actively partner with hiring managers to understand their department needs, create effective recruitment strategies, and fill vacancies with top talent promptly.
- Coordinate and participate in interviews, conducting thorough screenings and evaluations of applicants to determine their suitability for the role.
2. Sourcing Talent
- Proactively source candidates using a variety of channels including job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and specialized platforms.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-potential candidates, ensuring that there are always qualified applicants ready to fill future roles.
- Utilize innovative sourcing techniques and strategies to attract passive candidates.
3. Candidate Experience
- Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining effective and timely communication, providing feedback, and addressing any concerns.
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews while ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Assist in onboarding new hires to ensure they have a seamless transition into the company.
4. Employer Branding
- Collaborate with the marketing team to build and maintain the companyโs employer brand, ensuring that it resonates with potential candidates.
- Represent the company at virtual job fairs, conferences, and industry networking events.
- Ensure all job postings and recruitment materials are aligned with our employer brand and culture.
5. Data Management and Reporting
- Use applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate profiles, track application statuses, and generate reports on recruitment metrics.
- Continuously analyze recruiting data to refine recruitment processes, improve efficiency, and increase the quality of hires.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the recruitment processes remain competitive and effective.
6. Compliance and Best Practices
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Uphold diversity and inclusion practices throughout the recruitment process by sourcing diverse candidates and eliminating bias in hiring decisions.
- Educate hiring managers on recruitment best practices and guide interviewing techniques and candidate assessments.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition role.
- Experience working remotely or in a distributed workforce environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to source candidates using multiple platforms, including job boards, social media, and networking.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with an ability to handle multiple open roles simultaneously.
- High proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR software, and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a collaborative approach.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Preferred:
- Experience recruiting for a variety of roles across different industries or departments, especially in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Experience with employer branding strategies and virtual recruitment events.
- SHRM-CP or other professional HR certifications.
