๐ What Youโll Be Doing:
1. Proposal Development & Strategy
- Led, coordinated, and managed proposal efforts from concept to submission.
- Develop compelling, persuasive, and compliant proposals that stand out.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all proposals align with business objectives.
- Maintain a repository of winning proposal templates and best practices.
- Identify key requirements in RFPs and ensure proposals are tailored to meet client needs.
- Develop innovative approaches to increase win rates and overall effectiveness of proposals.
2. Content Creation & Editing
- Craft engaging, high-impact content tailored to client needs and RFP requirements.
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and brand voice in all proposals.
- Review and refine technical content, making complex ideas digestible and compelling.
- Proofread and edited proposals for grammatical, spelling, and formatting accuracy.
3. Project Management
- Develop proposal timelines, assign tasks to relevant teams, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Implement best practices to streamline and enhance the proposal development process.
- Organize kick-off meetings to align stakeholders and define expectations for each proposal.
4. Market & Competitive Analysis
- Research market trends, client needs, and competitor proposals.
- Leverage insights to enhance proposal strategies and increase win rates.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in proposal management.
- Analyze past proposals to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to refine messaging.
- Facilitate proposal review meetings, ensuring alignment and quality.
- Communicate effectively with executives and decision-makers to ensure proposal success.
- Develop training materials and resources for teams involved in proposal writing.
6. Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure proposals meet all compliance requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct final reviews to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and persuasive storytelling.
- Ensure adherence to formatting guidelines, corporate branding, and customer expectations.
- Maintain version control and track changes to ensure clarity and consistency across documents.
๐ What You Bring to the Table
โ Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of proposal management experience, preferably in a tech, government, or consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills (bonus points for witty wordplay! ๐ญ).
- Proficiency in proposal management tools (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio, Qvidian) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities like a proโorganization is key!
- Experience leading proposal teams and coordinating inputs from multiple departments.
