- 🎛 Have an impressive portfolio of original game audio (horror, fantasy, or sci-fi preferred)
- 🎧 Are fluent in FMOD, Wwise, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Audacity, or Reaper
- 🌐 Have hands-on experience integrating audio into Unity or Unreal Engine
- 📜 Understand principles of audio layering, dynamic range, and mixing/mastering techniques
- 🔍 Are obsessed with the subtle stuff—like the perfect crunch of gravel under boots
- 🧠 Can transform a vague emotional direction into a concrete, emotionally resonant soundscape
- 👥 Thrive in collaboration with artists, writers, and game developers
🎯 What You'll Be Doing: Your Sonic Mission
🌟 Sound Design & Editing
- ✨ Design, produce, and edit audio assets for environments, characters, weapons, creatures, and UI
- 🔊 Develop dynamic and adaptive sound effects that respond to player interaction and in-game events
- 🎙 Record, manipulate, and layer original Foley and field audio to match game atmospheres
🌟 Collaboration & Implementation
- 🛠 Integrate sound assets into game builds using audio middleware and game engines
- 🧠 Participate in narrative and design meetings to align audio with gameplay vision
- 🧩 Troubleshoot audio issues across platforms and optimize for performance
🌟 Creative Innovation
- 🎧 Push creative boundaries with abstract sound design and experimental composition
- 🌌 Prototype unusual sound mechanics and participate in R&D sprints for upcoming titles
- 🎼 Develop emotional audio cues to complement player choices and narrative arcs
