🌐 Primary Responsibilities
📋 Policy Development & Governance
- 🟢 Design scalable network security policies based on NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
- 🔵 Regularly update and refine policies to address evolving threats and regulatory changes
- 🔸 Conduct internal audits to evaluate policy effectiveness and alignment with global benchmarks
- 🔶 Coordinate policy enforcement mechanisms with compliance and IT teams
- 🔹 Draft playbooks, incident response guidelines, and documentation to support incident handling
📊 Risk Management & Compliance
- 🔶 Oversee compliance with cybersecurity regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA
- 🔹 Track, report, and reduce operational and reputational risk across network systems
- 🟠 Coordinate audit responses and documentation for third-party vendors and internal governance boards
- 🟢 Identify high-risk areas within digital environments and recommend remediation strategies
- 🔵 Build automated workflows that enforce security requirements across endpoints
🔍 Monitoring & Reporting
- 🟢 Analyze system alerts, incident logs, and security trends to discover vulnerabilities
- 🔵 Create detailed monthly reports and visual dashboards for executive leadership
- 🔸 Use data insights to evaluate incident severity, root cause, and long-term risk mitigation
- 🔶 Build threat intelligence summaries to improve proactive protection and threat modeling
- 🔹 Review user activity, permissions, and access controls for compliance

🎓 Required Qualifications
📚 Education & Certifications
- 🟢 Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 🔵 Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred
- 🔸 Additional certifications in cloud security (CCSP, AWS Security Specialty) are a bonus
🧠 Experience
