Key Responsibilities:
1. Workforce Planning and Forecasting:
- Lead the development and execution of workforce strategies that align with business goals and operational needs.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing requirements based on workload, business growth, and project demands.
- Utilize data analytics to predict staffing trends, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to optimize workforce efficiency.
- Monitor real-time data to adjust staffing levels dynamically, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and customer demand.
2. Operations Management:
- Oversee daily workforce operations, ensuring timely and efficient allocation of resources across various departments.
- Develop and implement best practices for managing a distributed workforce, ensuring consistency and productivity.
- Analyze operational performance metrics and KPIs to assess team effectiveness, productivity, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall workforce satisfaction.
3. Leadership and Team Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of workforce analysts and coordinators, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Provide clear direction, performance expectations, and ongoing feedback to ensure that teams meet or exceed goals.
- Identify skill gaps and work with Human Resources to develop training and development programs that support career growth and operational needs.

4. Technology and Tools Implementation:
- Leverage workforce management software and tools to streamline scheduling, timekeeping, and performance tracking.

- Develop comprehensive workforce reports that provide insights into staffing levels, productivity, and operational performance.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of workforce management strategies.
- Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to drive decision-making and resource allocation.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting for compliance, regulatory, and internal auditing purposes.
6. Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage workforce budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while maintaining high levels of service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through optimization of labor, technology, and processes.
- Ensure that staffing decisions align with financial goals and organizational priorities.
7. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that workforce operations adhere to legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Mitigate operational risks through effective workforce planning, staffing, and resource management.
- Partner with HR and legal teams to stay informed about changing labor laws and ensure compliance in all jurisdictions where employees are located.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in workforce management, operations, or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience managing remote or distributed teams is strongly preferred.
- Strong background in forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
