Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Workforce Strategy Director to lead and optimize our talent management strategies. This is a key leadership position responsible for aligning workforce planning with business goals to ensure sustainable growth and organizational efficiency. As the Workforce Strategy Director, you will oversee a broad range of talent-related functions, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention strategies, and leadership development. This role requires a visionary approach to workforce management, with the ability to anticipate future talent needs and develop innovative solutions to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Workforce Planning and Analysis
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive workforce strategy that aligns with the companyโs business objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify workforce gaps, future needs, and critical roles that drive business success.
- Utilize workforce analytics and forecasting tools to provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Establish metrics to measure workforce effectiveness and efficiency, reporting findings to senior leadership regularly.
- Design and implement strategies to address current and future workforce challenges, such as skills gaps and succession planning.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention
- Oversee the creation and execution of a forward-thinking talent acquisition strategy to attract high-caliber talent across various business units.
- Collaborate with HR teams to ensure that recruitment processes align with organizational goals and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and increase employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Lead efforts to create a compelling employer brand that enhances the companyโs reputation as an employer of choice.
- Employee Development and Leadership Training
- Design and lead initiatives for leadership development, ensuring that employees are equipped with the skills and competencies required for current and future roles.
- Create and implement training programs that address organizational needs, promote career growth, and enhance employee skill sets.
- Work with department heads to identify and develop high-potential employees for leadership roles.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development across all levels of the organization.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Initiatives
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to ensure that workforce strategies are inclusive and support a diverse range of employees.
- Develop DEI programs and initiatives that foster a more inclusive workplace and support diverse talent pools.
- Work with HR and leadership teams to implement policies and practices that promote diversity and equity in hiring, promotion, and employee engagement.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and operations, to ensure workforce strategies are integrated with broader business strategies.
- Partner with senior leadership to communicate workforce priorities and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organizationโs overall mission and goals.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executives on all workforce-related matters, including succession planning, talent development, and organizational design.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and industry organizations, to support talent pipelines.
- Change Management and Organizational Development
- Lead change management initiatives related to workforce transformation, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Guide teams through organizational changes such as restructuring, mergers, or acquisitions, providing strategic workforce planning during times of transition.
- Develop and implement organizational development strategies that enhance the company's capacity to achieve its goals through its people.
- Technology and Innovation in Workforce Management
- Leverage emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and data analytics, to enhance workforce planning and talent management processes.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in HR technology and workforce management, applying innovations that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the implementation of HR systems and tools that support workforce strategy initiatives, including talent management platforms and analytics tools.
Qualifications
- Education:
- A bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A masterโs degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in human resources, workforce planning, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and executing workforce strategies in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong background in talent management, including acquisition, development, and retention.
- Experience with workforce analytics and data-driven decision-making processes.

Working Conditions
This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility in location while providing a competitive salary of $169,208 per year. The Workforce Strategy Director will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, requiring occasional virtual meetings and the ability to manage a distributed workforce.
