Job Description:
As a Supply Chain Management Specialist, you will be at the forefront of ensuring smooth operations throughout the supply chain lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Demand Forecasting: Utilize advanced forecasting techniques to predict demand patterns accurately, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing excess stock.
- Inventory Management: Implement robust inventory control mechanisms to track stock levels, monitor inventory turnover rates, and identify opportunities for improvement to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, expedite delivery schedules, and resolve any issues promptly to maintain a reliable supply chain network.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and ultimately to customers, optimizing transportation routes and modes to minimize transit times and costs.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess existing processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and drive cost savings.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions, ensuring business continuity and uninterrupted flow of goods.
- Data Analysis: Leverage data analytics tools to analyze supply chain performance metrics, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as procurement, production, sales, and customer service to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. (Fresher or Experienced)
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
