Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Online Training Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. Key Responsibilities:

1. Course Design and Development:
   • Design, develop, and implement engaging and interactive online training programs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
   • Utilize various instructional design methodologies and e-learning tools to create high-quality training content, including multimedia elements such as videos, quizzes, and simulations.
   • Conduct needs assessments and collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure that training materials are relevant and up-to-date.
2. Training Delivery and Facilitation:
   • Facilitate online training sessions and workshops using virtual platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar tools.
   • Provide clear and effective instruction, ensuring that participants understand and apply the training content.
   • Monitor participant progress and provide feedback to support their learning and development.
3. Content Management and Maintenance:
   • Regularly review and update training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
   • Maintain and organize an online training repository, ensuring that all resources are easily accessible to employees.
   • Implement best practices for content management and adhere to organizational standards for training materials.
4. Evaluation and Improvement:
   • Develop and administer assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
   • Analyze feedback and performance data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for enhancing training initiatives.
   • Continuously seek opportunities to improve training methodologies and incorporate new technologies and approaches.
5. Collaboration and Support:
   • Collaborate with HR and departmental leaders to identify training needs and align programs with organizational goals.
   • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding training opportunities and resources.
   • Serve as a point of contact for training-related inquiries and provide assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Online Training Specialist or similar role, with a strong background in instructional design and e-learning.
• Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate remote learners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote work environment.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices in online education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing training programs for a variety of industries or organizational sizes.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and data tracking/reporting tools.
• Certification in instructional design or e-learning development.

Work Environment:

As a remote position, the Online Training Specialist will work from their own home or a preferred remote location. The role requires reliable internet access and the ability to manage time effectively while working independently. Regular communication with team members and stakeholders will be essential to ensure the successful delivery and management of training programs.
