Primary Responsibilities and Daily Impact

Personalized Career Coaching

You will offer individualized guidance to job seekers through one-on-one virtual coaching sessions. Each session is crafted to understand the person behind the resume, focusing on their unique experiences, goals, and challenges. Whether assisting with confidence-building, networking techniques, or personalized job search plans, your empathetic presence will make the difference.

Resume and Branding Guidance

Help clients refine their brand by providing expert feedback on resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles. You'll offer constructive insights to transform generic content into compelling, authentic representations of each candidate's strengths, making them competitive in today’s evolving remote job market.

Job Search Strategy Development

You will collaborate with each client to develop a customized job search strategy based on their industry, strengths, and personal aspirations. This includes navigating job boards, employing proactive outreach techniques, and maximizing the value of informational interviews.

Interview Preparation

Conduct mock interviews, simulate real-time scenarios, and offer real-world feedback to help clients present their best selves with confidence and clarity. You will teach strategies to manage interview anxiety and equip them with answers that reflect both experience and potential.

Emotional Support and Motivation

Transition can be emotionally complex. You will act as a trusted companion throughout a client’s journey, helping them remain focused, optimistic, and empowered. Drawing on a coaching mindset and an inclusive worldview, you'll help clients rediscover their value, even in times of uncertainty.

Essential Qualifications

Professional Experience

• 3+ years in career coaching, HR, recruiting, or outplacement services
• Strong understanding of today’s remote workforce dynamics and evolving hiring practices
• Familiarity with different industries and professional functions (tech, healthcare, finance, etc.)

Soft Skills

• Deeply empathetic and patient communicator
• Inclusive mindset, welcoming to diverse identities, career paths, and life stages
• An active listener who can interpret both verbal and emotional cues
• Enthusiastic team player who values collaboration over competition

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field
• Coaching certification (e.g., ICF, CPCC) is a plus, but not mandatory
