Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Digital Learning Strategist to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing digital learning solutions that enhance the educational experience of our global audience. As a Digital Learning Strategist, you will be responsible for identifying learning needs, developing strategies to meet those needs, and leveraging technology to deliver effective and engaging learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, digital learning platforms, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to align learning strategies with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learning Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess and identify learning needs across the organization.
- Develop comprehensive digital learning strategies that align with the organization's objectives and workforce development goals.
- Create learning frameworks that integrate modern digital tools, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual classrooms, and multimedia content.
- Conduct needs assessments and learner analysis to ensure the delivery of relevant and impactful content.
- Instructional Design:
- Design and develop engaging, learner-centered digital content, including courses, assessments, and other learning materials.
- Apply adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and best practices to create impactful learning experiences.
- Ensure that all learning materials are accessible and inclusive, catering to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex content into easy-to-understand, interactive formats.
- Implement assessments and evaluations to measure learning effectiveness and continuously improve content.
- Digital Learning Solutions Implementation:
- Oversee the deployment of digital learning solutions, including eLearning courses, webinars, and mobile learning platforms.
- Manage and optimize the use of learning management systems (LMS) and other digital tools to deliver content effectively.
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration and technical functionality of digital learning platforms.
- Stay informed on the latest technology trends in education and make recommendations for tools and platforms that enhance the learning experience.
- Data and Analytics:
- Use data and learning analytics to track the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives.
- Regularly review learner feedback, assessment data, and performance metrics to refine and improve learning strategies.
- Develop reports and dashboards to communicate learning outcomes and insights to stakeholders.
- Apply data-driven decision-making to continuously improve the digital learning experience.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple digital learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Coordinate with various internal departments, including HR, IT, and SMEs, to ensure alignment of digital learning projects with organizational goals.
- Create project timelines, set milestones, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage vendors and external partners involved in the development or delivery of digital learning solutions.
- Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a change leader, driving the adoption of digital learning solutions within the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of digital learning initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and materials to ensure stakeholders understand and effectively use digital learning tools and resources.
- Communicate the value of digital learning initiatives and foster a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or a related field (Masterโs degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or digital learning strategy.
- Demonstrated expertise in learning management systems (LMS), content authoring tools, and digital platforms.
- Experience developing digital learning materials for diverse audiences, with a focus on adult learners.
- Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
- Familiarity with data-driven learning analytics and experience using data to improve learning solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading digital learning initiatives from conception through execution.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in corporate learning environments or with enterprise-level digital learning implementations.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP or similar) or in instructional design (e.g., ATD, AECT).
- Familiarity with mobile learning, microlearning, and social learning platforms.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in a virtual or remote setting.
- Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and other eLearning standards.
