Job Description:

As a Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and passengers. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Safe Transportation: Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of passengers or cargo during transit.
2. Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to reach destinations promptly, considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and road closures.
3. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on assigned vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Report any mechanical issues promptly to the appropriate channels.
4. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers or clients, assisting them with boarding, disembarking, and handling their belongings when necessary. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents that occur during your shift. Complete necessary paperwork and reports as required.
6. Adaptability: Remain flexible and adaptable to changing schedules or unexpected situations. Be prepared to adjust routes or travel plans as needed to accommodate client requests or unforeseen circumstances.
7. Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations. Relay important information regarding delays, accidents, or other relevant incidents promptly.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations governing transportation services. This includes but is not limited to safety protocols, licensing requirements, and vehicle sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver is preferred but not required for fresher candidates.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
• Physical stamina and endurance to meet the demands of the job.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus.
