Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our dynamic HR team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies to enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
- Analyze and interpret employee feedback, surveys, and engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Conflict Resolution:
- Address and resolve employee conflicts and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on handling complex employee relations issues.
- Policy Development and Compliance:
- Create, review, and update employee policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures across all levels of the organization.
- Training and Development:
- Design and deliver training programs on employee relations topics, such as conflict resolution, communication skills, and workplace behavior.
- Support managers in developing effective people management skills and practices.
- Investigation and Reporting:
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and disciplinary issues, ensuring fair and unbiased outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports of investigations, resolutions, and other employee relations activities.
- Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to design and execute programs that enhance the overall employee experience.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant.
- Advise and assist with compliance-related matters and changes in employment legislation.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize HR data and analytics to track trends, measure the effectiveness of employee relations initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Generate reports and presentations for senior management on employee relations metrics and issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masterโs degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations, HR management, or a related role.
- Proven experience handling complex employee relations issues and conflicts.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
