Job Description:

As a BabySitter/Nanny for our family, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being, safety, and happiness of our 20-month-old twins. You will play a crucial role in their daily routine, creating a positive and stimulating environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Childcare: Provide hands-on care for the twins, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
2. Play and Learning Activities: Engage the children in age-appropriate activities that foster their creativity, curiosity, and motor skills development. Plan and organize playdates, outings, and educational games.
3. Establish Routine: Create a consistent daily routine for the children, including nap times, meals, and playtime, to provide stability and predictability.
4. Safety and Well-being: Prioritize the safety and well-being of the children at all times. Implement childproofing measures and maintain a watchful eye during play and other activities.
5. Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents to update them on the children's activities, milestones, and any concerns that may arise.
6. Nutrition: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children based on any dietary preferences or restrictions provided by the parents.
7. Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the children's activities, such as tidying up play areas, washing bottles and dishes, and organizing toys.
8. Bedtime Routine: Assist with the bedtime routine, including reading stories, preparing the children for sleep, and ensuring a calm and soothing atmosphere.
9. Emergency Preparedness: Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and have the ability to respond calmly and effectively in case of any unforeseen situations.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Proven experience as a BabySitter/Nanny with a focus on infants and toddlers. Previous experience with twins is a plus.
2. References: Strong and positive references from previous employers or families you have worked with.
3. CPR and First Aid Certification: Certification in CPR and First Aid for infants and young children is highly desirable.
4. Patience and Adaptability: Demonstrate patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for working with children. Be able to handle challenging situations with a calm and composed demeanor.
5. Reliability: Punctuality and a reliable transportation method are essential.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time/full-time position with flexible hours. The schedule will be discussed and agreed upon with the selected candidate.
