Responsibilities:
- Technical Assistance: Provide first-line technical support to resolve hardware and software issues for end-users via phone, email, chat, or in-person. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, system backups, and hardware installations. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network stability and security.
- Problem Resolution: Analyze and resolve technical issues promptly, utilizing problem-solving skills and technical expertise. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions provided, and troubleshooting steps taken. Create and update documentation for IT systems, procedures, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and enhance efficiency.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. Cultivate positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through effective communication and professionalism.
- Training and Education: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends through continuous learning and professional development. Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the IT department.
Qualifications:
For Fresher:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
For Experienced:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and other enterprise-level technologies.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
