Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join our dynamic team. As the LMS Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing, maintaining, and enhancing our learning management system to ensure an optimal learning experience for all users.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. LMS Management and Maintenance:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the LMS, ensuring that it is functioning smoothly and efficiently.
    • Perform regular system updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting to resolve any technical issues.
    • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of the LMS with other organizational systems.
  2. User Support and Training:
    • Provide training and support to faculty, staff, and learners on how to effectively use the LMS.
    • Develop and maintain user guides, documentation, and FAQs to assist users in navigating the LMS.
    • Address user inquiries and issues promptly, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
  3. Course Management:
    • Assist in the design, development, and deployment of online courses and training programs.
    • Work with instructional designers and content creators to ensure course materials are effectively uploaded and organized within the LMS.
    • Monitor course enrollment, progress, and completion rates, providing reports to stakeholders as needed.
  4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Generate and analyze reports on user engagement, course effectiveness, and system performance.
    • Use data insights to recommend enhancements and improvements to the LMS and learning offerings.
    • Collaborate with educational leaders to align LMS strategies with organizational learning goals.
  5. Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Ensure that the LMS complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices for online learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an LMS Administrator or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of various LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard).
  • Familiarity with e-learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and adult learning theories.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
