Job Overview

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our client’s premises, property, and personnel. Your role will involve monitoring activities on-site, controlling access points, and responding to emergencies and incidents. This position requires a vigilant and proactive approach, ensuring a secure environment for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitoring and Surveillance:
   • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
   • Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect premises for signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
   • Report any irregularities, hazards, or incidents to the relevant authorities or management.
2. Access Control:
   • Manage entry and exit points of the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel access the premises.
   • Issue visitor passes and maintain a visitor log for accountability.
   • Screen bags and packages as necessary to prevent unauthorized items from entering the premises.
3. Emergency Response:
   • Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including medical emergencies, fires, or security breaches.
   • Assist in evacuating personnel and ensuring the safety of everyone on-site during emergencies.
   • Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
4. Customer Service:
   • Greet visitors and provide information courteously and professionally.
   • Assist clients and employees with inquiries and direct them as needed.
   • Maintain a visible presence that promotes a sense of security among clients and visitors.
5. Documentation:
   • Prepare incident reports and maintain logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
   • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations.
   • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to security operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum 10th-grade pass; higher education is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certifications: Relevant security training or certifications will be an advantage.
• Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
