About the Role
We are looking for a People Operations Analyst to join our remote team and support our efforts in building an exceptional employee experience. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and have a passion for human resources and data-driven decision-making. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our People Operations processes are efficient, data-centric, and aligned with our overall business goals. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while enabling you to make a meaningful impact on the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to retention and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to various aspects of People Operations including recruitment, retention, compensation, and employee engagement.
    • Develop and maintain People Operations dashboards to provide ongoing insights into workforce metrics, performance, and trends.
    • Partner with other teams to provide relevant data for strategic decision-making, ensuring that stakeholders have access to accurate, real-time information.
    • Use predictive analytics to identify patterns, trends, and potential areas for improvement in workforce planning and employee satisfaction.
  2. Process Optimization
    • Evaluate existing People Operations processes and recommend improvements to ensure efficiency and scalability.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes such as onboarding, performance management, and employee exits.
    • Implement automation tools and other technological solutions to reduce manual work and enhance overall HR service delivery.
  3. Compensation & Benefits Analysis
    • Assist in conducting regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure our compensation and benefits programs remain competitive.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations for salary reviews, promotions, and bonuses, ensuring that our compensation structure is fair and equitable.
    • Partner with finance and leadership teams to develop cost-effective benefits programs that support employee well-being and retention.
  4. Compliance & Policy Management
    • Ensure that all People Operations processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly about remote work and cross-border employment.
    • Assist in drafting, revising, and implementing company policies related to HR, ensuring that they are aligned with the companyโ€™s culture and values.
    • Regularly audit employee data and records to ensure compliance with data protection and employment laws.
  5. Employee Experience & Engagement
    • Play a critical role in fostering a positive employee experience by analyzing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Support the design and implementation of employee engagement surveys, exit interviews, and other feedback mechanisms.
    • Analyze survey results and provide actionable recommendations to improve employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
    • Collaborate with the People Operations team to develop initiatives that enhance employee morale and workplace culture, even in a remote setting.
  6. Talent Acquisition Support
    • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to develop data-driven recruitment strategies, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) for success.
    • Analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rates to ensure the hiring process is efficient and effective.
    • Support the development of talent pipelines by analyzing sourcing strategies, candidate profiles, and recruitment channels.
  7. HR Technology & Systems
    • Manage and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS) and ensure that all employee data is accurate and up to date.
    • Identify opportunities to improve HR technology and processes, ensuring the HR team has the tools needed to be effective.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting issues with HR systems and tools.
  8. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
    • Collaborate with the DEI team to analyze data on workforce diversity and help develop strategies to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
    • Provide data and insights to help shape DEI programs and initiatives that foster an inclusive environment where all employees feel valued and supported.
    • Monitor progress on DEI goals and metrics, providing regular updates to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or similar roles with a strong focus on data analysis.
  • Proficiency in HR software, such as HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), as well as Excel, SQL, or other data analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, particularly about remote work and global employment.
