What You Will Do
Security Monitoring and Threat Detection
- Proactively monitor networks and systems for security breaches and anomalies using advanced SIEM solutions.
- Identify, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time
- Analyze security event logs and generate actionable insights to prevent future incidents
Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments across critical assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement mitigation strategies
- Track, prioritize, and remediate security risks based on threat intelligence and business impact
Policy Development and Compliance
- Assist in the creation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure systems and procedures align with industry regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Participate in audits and support internal governance efforts
Security Awareness and Training
- Educate teams about secure coding practices and phishing defense tactics

Reporting and Documentation

Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus, as automation plays a key role in improving response times and scalability.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security analyst role
- Demonstrated knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies
- Experience conducting threat analysis, risk assessments, and vulnerability management
- Solid grasp of regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a knack for rapidly assessing and prioritizing threats
Preferred Experience
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GSEC
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Ability to write scripts to automate everyday security tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
