Remote DevOps Project Manager
Description
Remote DevOps Project Manager
About the Role
You’re an innovator, a strategist, and someone who thrives in the thrilling chaos of bringing digital infrastructure to life. Picture this: a remote-first team redefining DevOps practices across industries, and you, right at the center of it all, driving scalable delivery, building cloud-native pipelines, and orchestrating seamless deployments. If that gets your heart racing, we have just the role for you. We're searching for a Remote DevOps Project Manager who can seamlessly integrate technical prowess with agile leadership to steer cross-functional projects from ideation to delivery.
With an annual salary of $156,985, this is not just a job—it’s your launchpad to working with global engineering teams, architects, and cloud specialists on innovative solutions that power some of the most future-forward organizations today.
Our Mission
We’ve always believed that great technology stems from a bold vision. Our journey began with a group of engineers who sought to disrupt traditional infrastructure management. Since then, we’ve built a fully distributed team of DevOps experts and agile practitioners creating cutting-edge CI/CD systems, automating cloud scalability, and embedding DevSecOps from day one. Our DevOps Project Managers aren’t just facilitators—they’re catalysts, idea-builders, and problem-solvers, ensuring excellence across the software delivery lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing
Orchestrating Agile DevOps Projects
- Lead full-cycle DevOps initiatives across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and release management.
- Work directly with engineers and cloud architects to define user stories and maintain detailed sprint plans.
- Oversee product delivery timelines, remove roadblocks, and facilitate continuous improvement.
Translating Complexity Into Clarity
- Turn high-level technical requirements into actionable project plans and milestones.
- Manage cross-timezone stakeholders with clarity and consistency
- Translate DevOps concepts—containerization, infrastructure-as-code, observability—into achievable goals
Fostering Collaboration and High-Performance Culture
- Champion a transparent, asynchronous communication style that supports our distributed model
- Collaborate across engineering, QA, and operations to ensure unified deployments
- Advocate for best practices in documentation, knowledge sharing, and agile retrospectives
Where You’ll Work
This role is 100% remote—because great minds don’t need walls. You’ll work in a flexible, asynchronous environment that values outcome over hours. Think stand-ups via Slack, collaborative whiteboarding on Miro, and sprint planning across time zones.
Our virtual workspace promotes autonomy, deep work, and trust. Whether you're leading a cloud migration or refining a Kubernetes deployment strategy, your contributions will directly impact products used by global enterprises and fast-scaling startups alike.
Tools You’ll Use
We’re all about automation and efficiency. Our current stack includes:
- Cloud Providers: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD Pipelines: GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
- Monitoring and Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
- Project Management: Jira, Confluence, Notion
You're encouraged to propose tools, frameworks, or strategies that could elevate our delivery model.
