We’re seeking a highly driven Remote Email Marketing Manager to lead the charge on campaign strategy, development, and optimization. Your expertise in email marketing will directly influence how customers engage with our brand, shaping every communication from the first welcome to long-term retention. With full autonomy, you'll spearhead targeted messaging strategies while working cross-functionally with teams in content, product, and design. Core Responsibilities

  • Design and execute lifecycle email campaigns tailored to audience segments and behavioral triggers
  • Plan multi-step workflows and automation to support onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation.
  • Create engaging, on-brand content with compelling subject lines and value-driven messaging.
  • Conduct A/B tests to experiment with content, timing, and visuals for continual improvement.
  • Maintain campaign schedules and coordinate efforts with product launches or key business milestones.
  • Track core KPIs including opens, CTRs, conversions, list growth, unsubscribe rates, and overall engagement
  • Regularly clean email lists, manage bounce rates, and adhere to deliverability best practices.
  • Evaluate campaign results and extract meaningful patterns to guide future strategy.
  • Ensure all communication complies with legal standards, including GDPR, CASL, and CAN-SPAM.
  • Liaise with content creators and designers to align visual assets with messaging objectives

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing end-to-end email campaigns
  • Strong command of popular platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or ActiveCampaign
  • Experience building automated flows using behavior, lifecycle, or preference triggers
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS for email formatting and troubleshooting
  • Ability to write compelling, clear, and personalized copy that inspires action
  • Highly analytical, capable of interpreting data and reporting metrics in a structured manner
  • Familiar with CRM platforms like Salesforce or Zoho and how they integrate with email marketing
  • Strong organizational habits and a talent for managing competing demands of multiple projects in a remote setting
  • Self-starter attitude with strong attention to detail and accountability
