What You'll Be Doing

As a Remote UX Writer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, product managers, researchers, and developers to bring seamless digital experiences to life. Your words will help users navigate interfaces, understand choices, and feel confident in every interaction. Expect to contribute to both high-level strategy and the execution of granular content.

Core Responsibilities

• Write and edit user interface copy for web and mobile products
• Co-develop content strategies with designers and product owners
• Ensure content aligns with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Participate in usability testing sessions and apply findings to refine content
• Maintain and evolve voice and tone guidelines across projects
• Create error messages, tooltips, onboarding flows, modals, and success states that are informative and empathetic
• Contribute to design reviews, advocating for clarity and user understanding
• Audit existing content for consistency, readability, and inclusiveness

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UX Writer, Content Designer, or similar role

• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI writing for digital products
• Ability to accept feedback gracefully and iterate collaboratively
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams is a plus
• Comfort with agile environments and fast-paced iterations
