🚀 What You’ll Do

🌟 Key Responsibilities

• 🔹 Develop high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports to secure funding from public and private sources
• 🔸 Research funding sources using digital tools, funding databases, and APIs to identify opportunities aligned with our mission
• 🔹 Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Slack, Trello, and Notion to gather technical and operational insights for proposals
• 🔸 Track submission deadlines using Notion and sync calendars with Google Workspace or Asana to manage tasks effectively
• 🔹 Analyze past grant performance data using Tableau and Google Data Studio to enhance future proposal outcomes
• 🔸 Manage and maintain a centralized digital grant library using Airtable and Notion for easy access and version control
• 🔹 Stay updated with evolving funder requirements, policies, and digital tools to ensure compliance and competitiveness
• 🔸 Contribute to the development of internal knowledge-sharing resources, guides, and templates that streamline the grant writing process
• 🔹 Write compelling cover letters, impact statements, and organizational bios for grant submissions
• 🔸 Assist with post-award grant management, including progress reporting and impact assessment metrics

🧠 Skills You’ll Need to Succeed

🔵 Required Skills & Experience

• 📘 Minimum 3 years of proven experience in grant writing, preferably in nonprofit, social enterprise, or tech-driven organizations
• 📗 Superior writing, grammar, and editing skills with a strong capability to explain intricate ideas in simple, engaging language
• 📘 Familiarity with major funding platforms like Grants.gov, SAM.gov, GrantStation, and the Foundation Directory Online
• 📗 Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and analysis
• 📘 Competence in using project collaboration platforms like Notion, Asana, and Trello for transparent and agile project execution
• 📗 Experience in visualizing data through platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio to support data storytelling
• 📘 Proven success in navigating competing tasks and completing assignments within demanding timelines

• ✅ Background in technology-driven startups, nonprofits, or organizations engaged in public-sector innovation
• ✅ Understanding of impact measurement frameworks, including KPIs, ROI, Theory of Change, and OKRs

• ✅ Exposure to digital fundraising strategies and donor engagement tools like Salesforce or Kindful is a plus
