Role Overview
Purpose of the Position
In this fully remote position, you'll act as a central point of contact for day-to-day human resources support across departments. From onboarding and benefits coordination to assisting in employee engagement initiatives, you’ll create a smooth and supportive HR experience for a diverse team of remote professionals across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and documentation for remote employees
- Maintain accurate HRIS records, employee files, and digital personnel documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries on policies, benefits, leaves, and workplace expectations.
- Support recruitment logistics and candidate communications with warmth and timeliness.
- Assist in scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and coordinating background checks.
Engagement and Culture
- Help organize wellness, inclusion, and engagement events throughout the year.
- Track HR metrics related to engagement, turnover, and diversity trends
- Participate in process improvement and policy updates with cross-functional input
