Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Learning Quality Reviewer to join our dynamic team. This role involves evaluating and ensuring the quality of digital learning content, online courses, and educational resources for remote learning environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of instructional design principles, online education best practices, and quality assurance processes. This role is crucial in maintaining and improving the quality of the learning experiences provided to learners across various platforms.

As a Remote Learning Quality Reviewer, you will assess courses and educational content to ensure they meet established standards for effectiveness, engagement, accessibility, and learner satisfaction. Your insights and recommendations will play a key role in refining course design, ensuring accessibility, and supporting the continual improvement of online education programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Course Quality Evaluation: Review digital courses, training modules, and educational resources to ensure they meet established standards for quality, accessibility, and instructional effectiveness.
• Content Review: Assess course content, including multimedia elements (videos, interactive exercises, quizzes) for clarity, accuracy, and educational value. Ensure that all content aligns with learning objectives and meets target audience needs.
• Instructional Design Evaluation: Analyze the structure, design, and delivery of online courses to ensure that they adhere to best practices in instructional design and learning theory. Provide recommendations for improvement where necessary.
• Accessibility Review: Ensure that all online learning materials comply with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1). This includes evaluating usability for learners with disabilities and recommending adjustments to improve inclusivity.
• Learner Engagement Analysis: Monitor and assess learner engagement, retention, and satisfaction levels within the courses. Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for enhancing the learning experience.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all learning materials comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and guidelines, such as ADA compliance, copyright laws, and intellectual property rights.
• Feedback and Reporting: Provide detailed feedback on course quality, including written reports, evaluations, and recommendations for improvements. Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and content creators to implement suggested changes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in online education, instructional design, and e-learning technologies. Incorporate best practices and emerging technologies to enhance course quality and learner experiences.
• Quality Assurance Process Development: Assist in the development and refinement of the organization’s quality assurance processes, including the creation of rubrics, checklists, and guidelines for evaluating course content and design.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, subject matter experts, content developers, and technical support staff, to ensure that learning content is both pedagogically sound and technically flawless.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in online education, instructional design, or quality assurance in an e-learning environment. Experience with remote learning platforms, LMS systems, and digital course evaluation is essential.
• Instructional Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories, and adult learning methodologies. Familiarity with ADDIE or SAM models of instructional design.
• Quality Assurance: Proven experience in quality assurance and process improvement, particularly within the context of digital learning and e-learning platforms.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing and evaluating digital learning content, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, and areas for improvement.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess learner engagement metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for course improvements.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), and accessibility tools (e.g., screen readers, captioning software). Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate feedback clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to offer practical and innovative solutions to improve course design and learner outcomes.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with e-learning standards, such as SCORM, AICC, or xAPI (Tin Can).
• Experience working with educational content that supports diverse learning styles and accessibility needs.
• Certification in quality assurance or instructional design is a plus.
