Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Organizational Development Advisor to join our team. This position will play a critical role in driving organizational growth, employee engagement, leadership development, and strategic transformation across the organization. As an advisor, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR teams, and other key stakeholders to design and implement organizational development strategies that foster a high-performance culture and ensure long-term sustainability.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of organizational behavior, leadership development, change management, and team dynamics, with the ability to tailor approaches to different business units. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Organizational Development:
    Develop and implement comprehensive organizational development (OD) strategies that align with the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals. Lead efforts to assess and enhance organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and change management processes.
  • Leadership Development:
    Design and implement leadership development programs that build leadership capacity at all levels of the organization. Provide coaching and support to managers and senior leaders, helping them enhance their leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and overall effectiveness.
  • Employee Engagement and Retention:
    Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Partner with HR teams to design and implement strategies for cultivating a positive work culture, increasing employee morale, and improving overall employee experience.
  • Change Management:
    Lead change management initiatives, ensuring that organizational changes are implemented smoothly and effectively. Work with teams across the organization to build change resilience and create communication plans that help employees understand and embrace change.
  • Performance Management and Coaching:
    Develop, implement, and refine performance management systems to support the continuous development of employees. Provide one-on-one coaching to leaders and teams to ensure alignment with performance expectations and organizational objectives.
  • Organizational Assessments and Surveys:
    Design and facilitate organizational assessments, employee engagement surveys, and other diagnostic tools to measure and analyze organizational health and effectiveness. Use data to inform decision-making and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Team Development and Facilitation:
    Facilitate team-building activities, workshops, and training sessions to strengthen team dynamics and improve collaboration. Use diagnostic tools and assessments to identify team strengths and areas for improvement, helping teams to achieve higher levels of performance.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
    Support and promote DEI initiatives within the organization by advising on best practices and strategies for fostering an inclusive, equitable, and diverse work environment. Partner with HR and leadership to develop initiatives that support a diverse workforce and inclusive leadership.
  • Talent Development and Succession Planning:
    Collaborate with HR and senior leaders to design talent development frameworks and succession planning processes that ensure a robust talent pipeline for critical roles across the organization. Identify and nurture high-potential employees, preparing them for leadership positions.
  • Consultation and Advisory Services:
    Provide consultation and advisory services to leadership and management teams on issues related to organizational development, culture, talent management, and change processes. Offer insights and guidance on best practices and emerging trends in organizational development.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    A Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is required. A Masterโ€™s degree or certification in organizational development, coaching, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in organizational development, HR, leadership development, or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in driving strategic initiatives and large-scale change efforts.
    • Proven experience in developing and delivering leadership development programs and organizational assessments.
    • Experience working in a remote environment and managing projects across geographically dispersed teams is highly preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of organizational behavior, team dynamics, leadership development, and change management principles.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose organizational challenges and offer practical, data-driven solutions.
    • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Proficiency in using data and analytics to assess organizational health and inform strategic decisions.
    • A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • Technical Skills:
    Familiarity with tools and platforms used in organizational development, such as employee engagement software, learning management systems (LMS), survey tools, and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

Working Conditions:

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with colleagues across different time zones. Occasional travel may be required for team-building activities, leadership retreats, or other organizational events.
