Key Responsibilities
Clinical Strategy and Oversight
- Develop and manage benefit designs for commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid pharmacy plans.
- Collaborate with medical leadership to assess therapeutic classes and determine preferred treatments.
- Conduct strategic utilization reviews to ensure clinically sound, cost-efficient medication use.
Formulary Innovation
- Stay informed on FDA updates, market dynamics, and medication pipelines to refine formulary structures.
- Contribute clinical recommendations in Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committee settings.
- Participate in building interactive formulary platforms and decision-support tools.
Cross-Functional Communication
- Distill complex drug information into accessible guidance for care teams and partners.
- Facilitate meaningful discussions with providers about benefit design and therapeutic changes.
- Present clinical findings and pharmacy insights to senior leaders across departments.
Outcome-Oriented Initiatives
