Role Overview: Defining Privacy in the Digital Age

Program Vision and Responsibilities

Strategic Program Ownership

• Design and refine global privacy programs in alignment with GDPR, CCPA, and other major regulatory frameworks
• Develop a comprehensive long-term privacy strategy that aligns innovation with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal policies, procedures, and guidelines on data usage, handling, and storage.

Cross-Team Leadership and Communication

• Act as the privacy point of contact for engineering, marketing, HR, and data science teams
• Collaborate with UX designers and developers to embed privacy within product life cycles.
• Influence executive leadership on privacy matters and organizational risk appetite.

Operational Excellence in Privacy

• Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs)
• Coordinate audits, risk assessments, and incident response protocols
• Establish a governance model to manage vendor risk and third-party data-sharing practices
