What You’ll Be Doing

Designing Inclusive and Intuitive User Experiences

• Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes that simplify and enhance the enjoyment of complex travel tasks.
• Apply research insights and human behavior patterns to develop accessible designs that cater to a diverse range of users, including travelers of all ages and abilities.
• Advocate for mobile-first and responsive design principles in everything you produce.

Collaborating Across Multidisciplinary Teams

• Work closely with product managers, developers, content strategists, and QA engineers to ensure design feasibility and delivery.
• Participate in regular sprint cycles, providing and receiving feedback with openness and respect.
• Attend virtual design reviews and brainstorming sessions that encourage experimentation and creativity.

Championing User Research and Testing

• Conduct usability testing and synthesize findings into actionable improvements.
• Stay attuned to customer feedback, support tickets, and industry trends to enhance the experience proactively.
• Help create inclusive personas and journey maps that accurately reflect the real-world diversity of our global user base.

Shaping the Visual and Interaction Design System

• Maintain consistency across platforms by contributing to and evolving our travel app’s design language system.
• Suggest enhancements that improve accessibility, from color contrast and type legibility to gesture-based navigation.
• Ensure all visual components align with the brand identity while meeting modern standards for responsiveness and clarity.

Qualifications and Experience That Make You Shine

Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of professional UX/UI experience, preferably within mobile app or travel-focused products
• A compelling portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful design processes and effective collaboration
• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual hierarchy
• Experience designing for accessibility standards (WCAG) and multilingual interfaces
• Ability to work effectively in remote teams with clear communication and time management

Bonus Experience

• Exposure to the travel tech industry or a personal passion for cultural exploration
• Familiarity with motion design, micro-interactions, or AR-enhanced UX
• Understanding of cross-platform design principles across iOS and Android
