Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
- Define robust testing frameworks tailored for Salesforce components, utilizing both automated and manual approaches.
- Collaborate with team leads and solution architects to identify coverage gaps and validate technical requirements.
- Translate business logic into testable scenarios that align with evolving project needs.
Testing Execution & Defect Management
- Run tests across various Salesforce functionalities, including Sales Cloud, Lightning Components, and API integrations.
- Perform structured regression, exploratory, and system tests to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Report anomalies and coordinate resolution workflows with engineering teams using JIRA or similar tools.
Automation & CI/CD Integration
- Contribute to reusable automated testing solutions using Provar, Selenium, or equivalent platforms.
- Design and maintain test suites that plug into Jenkins or Git-based CI pipelines.
- Monitor and fine-tune scripts for consistent results across sandbox and staging environments.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Engage in Agile rituals such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to sync with project milestones.
- Communicate quality status, risks, and readiness levels to a diverse group of technical and business stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records of scripts, test cases, outcomes, and issue histories.
