What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

• Edit and synchronize subtitles for TV, film, online videos, and corporate content.
• Ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and adherence to style guides.
• Translate creative intent into concise, audience-friendly captions.

Guarantee Subtitle Accuracy and Sync

• Verify time codes and adjust subtitle timing to match speech and visuals.
• Spot and resolve inconsistencies in tone, spelling, or syntax.
• Perform quality control reviews across multiple language tracks.

Collaborate With Global Content Teams

• Work closely with translators, video editors, and project managers.
• Provide feedback to freelance transcribers and localization vendors.

Maintain High Editorial Standards

Qualifications and Skills We’re Looking For

Must-Have Expertise

• Proven experience in subtitle editing, closed captioning, or transcription
• Firm grasp of grammar, punctuation, and stylistic editing conventions
• Ability to manage time codes and subtitle files (SRT, VTT, STL, etc.)
• Excellent written English and keen attention to detail
